Dr. Leah Garrett is the Larry A. and Klara Silverstein Chair in Jewish Studies and Director of Hebrew and Jewish Studies at Hunter College, CUNY. She is currently on sabbatical for the 2024-2025 academic year, with Schneur Zalman Newfield serving as interim director.
