- Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Radboud University (2017-2020)
Lea's research centers on social, cultural, and political psychology with a specialized focus on the occupational gender gap. She investigates how socialized values shape career interests in gender-segregated fields, including male-dominated STEM sectors and female-dominated care professions. Her doctoral work specifically examines the interplay between fertility intentions and job characteristic preferences, revealing systemic factors in workforce gender disparities.
As part of the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded initiative, she contributes to interdisciplinary research exploring societal and market dimensions of human reproduction, contextualizing her analysis of gendered occupational patterns within broader demographic frameworks.
