Catalina Kranner is a doctoral researcher at the University of Zurich's Department of Anthropology, affiliated with the URPP Human Reproduction Reloaded | H2R, SP 3 Ethnography of Human Reproduction and Single Case. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Annuska Derks, her work examines reproductive mobilities in Argentina through legal, cultural, and healthcare provider perspectives.

Her research integrates themes of technology, gender, and reproduction within assisted human reproduction and surrogacy frameworks. She focuses on Argentina's legal landscape, reproductive healthcare dynamics, and cross-border interactions in reproductive services.
As part of the URPP H2R project, she contributes to ethnographic studies on human reproduction while analyzing transnational reproductive practices in Latin America and Europe. Her work bridges biotechnology, medical ethics, and socio-cultural anthropology.
