Lea Bou Sleiman

Lea Bou Sleiman is an Assistant Professor at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP) at the National University of Singapore (NUS). Her research bridges urban economics with policy analysis, focusing on the interplay between technical city designs and their social consequences.

Research Focus: Lea investigates how transportation infrastructure shapes urban development and socioeconomic dynamics, with emphasis on environmental and transportation policy impacts, residential sorting, and traffic-calming measures. Academic Affiliations: Prior to joining LKYSPP, Lea held postdoctoral and associate roles at the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER) and Harvard University.
