Danny Quah is the Dean and Li Ka Shing Professor in Economics at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore. His research focuses on global economic dynamics, including income inequality, economic growth, and geopolitical shifts. He previously held roles as Professor of Economics and Director of the Saw Swee Hock Southeast Asia Centre at the London School of Economics (LSE), and Assistant Professor at MIT.
- Education: Bachelor of Arts from Princeton University (1980), PhD in Economics from Harvard University (1986).
- Research Interests: World order, global power relations, economic inequality, and applied econometrics. His work bridges economics and geopolitics, analyzing the supply and demand of international systems.
