Dr Lawrence Pang is a Lecturer in Old Testament at the University of Notre Dame Australia’s Faculty of Education, Philosophy & Theology. He completed his PhD at the same institution with a thesis titled "Prophecy, Propaganda or Both: A Rereading of Hosea 1-3".

Dr Pang’s work spans Biblical Studies, Old Testament, and Theology, with a focus on liturgical practices, prophetic texts, and scriptural interpretation. His research integrates artistic and historical approaches, as seen in his supervision of theses on Luke’s theology and John’s Gospel.
His recent publications (2020) explore temple symbolism and legal frameworks in biblical texts. Earlier articles delve into liturgical gestures (2019), divine presence (2018), and spiritual growth through worship (2016), reflecting his interdisciplinary approach to theology and religious practices.
