Lawrence F. Pitilli is an Associate Professor of Speech at St. John's University, affiliated with the Lesley H. and William L. Collins College of Professional Studies. With over 30 years of teaching experience, he specializes in speech-related courses, including public speaking, critical thinking, and the anatomy of speech mechanisms. His research focuses on popular culture, particularly music, exemplified by his authored book Doo-Wop Acappella: A Story of Street Corners, Echoes, and Three-Part Harmonies and contributions to academic journals and books.
