Laurie Churchman is an Adjunct Professor in design-related fields at Temple University, Johns Hopkins University, and Thomas Jefferson University. As principal of Designlore, she integrates teaching, making, and thinking in design, with over 30 years of professional experience recognized by Communication Arts, Creativity, How Magazine, and AIGA.
- Education: BS from University of Delaware, MFA from Yale University, and participant in AIGA/Harvard Business School Design Leaders Program.
Her research focuses on design theory, design thinking, and human-centered design, applied to interdisciplinary challenges in healthcare and civic design. She has lectured internationally on design.
