Lauric Henneton

Lauric Henneton is a Lecturer in English Civilization at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines, affiliated with the Institute of Cultural and International Studies (IECI) and the Department of Languages. He teaches courses on the history and civilization of English-speaking countries, with a focus on the United States, United Kingdom, and Atlantic region.

• Research: Atlantic history, New England studies, religious history of the U.S., political discourse, and transatlantic rock culture

His publications span from Religious History of the United States (2012) to Rock'n'Road Trip (2023), with recent work on American democratic resilience during the Trump era. His articles explore fear as a political tool, spiritual geopolitics, and Atlantic integration of religious phenomena.

He co-founded the Summer Academy of Atlantic History and has been involved in editorial coordination for journals like IdeAs and Politique américaine. His research combines historical analysis with contemporary political sociology, particularly examining the American Dream's evolution.
