Prof. Lauri Savioja is a full-time Professor and Head of the Department of Computer Science at Aalto University. His research focuses on room acoustics, virtual reality, and auditory displays, conducted within the Aalto Acoustics Lab—a multidisciplinary facility for sound-related research. He holds Fellowships from the Audio Engineering Society and Acoustical Society of America, and is an IEEE Senior Member. His work contributes to UN Sustainable Development Goals through advancements in audio engineering and immersive technologies.
