Laurent Levi

Laurent Levi is an Associate Professor at the University of Pau and Pays de l'Adour, affiliated with the Mathematics Education department. He earned his DEA in Applied Mathematics (1990-1991) and PhD from the same university, specializing in hyperbolic ecosystem modeling. Since 1994, he has held various leadership positions including Director of MIASHS License studies and Department Chair.

His research focuses on hyperbolic and parabolic partial differential equations with applications to conservation laws and obstacle problems. Specific interests include quasilinear operators and scalar conservation laws with discontinuous fluxes.
