Laurent Denant-Boemont serves as Professor of Economics at the University of Rennes within the Faculty of Economics and Department of Economics, and holds a Senior Fellowship at CREM CNRS (Centre de Recherche en Économie et Management). His research specializes in Behavioral Economics applied to Transportation Economics, employing laboratory experiments through the LABEX-EM platform he co-manages with David Masclet. Current investigations focus on Sustainable Transportation Choices and Behavioral Aspects of Energy Transition, while extending to Urban Economics and Water Economics through projects like NEWTS. He has developed a Master 2 program in Sustainable Mobility Management for economics, management, and engineering students alongside Maïté Stephan.
Professor Denant-Boemont supervises PhD candidate Tanguy Richard on low-carbon mobility policy design. Administratively, he serves as LABEX responsible for Rennes 1 and CNRS, CNU member (section 05: Economics), Faculty of Economics communication officer, and SCD "Enseignement recherche" correspondent. His research group operates within CREM CNRS, advancing experimental economics methodologies for transportation and sustainability challenges.
