Laurent Bourdeau is a Full Professor at Université Laval's Faculty of Forestry, Geography and Geomatics, Department of Geography. His research focuses on tourism marketing, territorial branding, and sustainable tourism product development. He works from the Abitibi-Price Pavilion, office 3175, and can be contacted at laurent.bourdeau@ggr.ulaval.ca.

His research examines territorial attractiveness, tourism ecosystem dynamics, and innovation in nature-based tourism. Current projects include MITACS-funded studies on climate change adaptation in natural spaces and sustainable tourism development in Anticosti Island. His work integrates UNESCO's Culture-Tourism-Development framework.
The three recent publications analyze agro-food territories as tourism assets, aesthetic perceptions of youth tourists in national parks, and innovation challenges in nature-based tourism. These studies span disciplines like Tourism Geography, Sustainable Development, and Environmental Perception Studies.
