Laurent Bordes

Laurent Bordes is a Professor at the University of Pau and the Pays de l'Adour (UPPA), where he has held a faculty position since 2006. He earned his Doctorate in Applied Mathematics from the University of Bordeaux 1 (1996) and was granted Accreditation to Supervise Research from the University of Technology of Compiègne (2006). His academic career includes roles as Lecturer at UTC (1997-2006) and ATER at Bordeaux 1 (1996-1997).

• Administrative Roles: President of UPPA (2021), Director of IPRA Research Federation (2016-2017), Vice President of Research at UPPA (2012-2016), and Head of LMAP Probability and Statistics Team (2007-2008).
