Lauren S. Gollahon

Dr. Lauren S. Gollahon is a Professor and Associate Chair in the Department of Biological Sciences at Texas Tech University. She leads a research lab focused on breast cancer development, progression, and metastasis, while also testing candidate anticancer agents. Her interdisciplinary work spans collaborations with Nutritional Sciences and Animal Sciences departments, and she is affiliated with the Center of Excellence in Obesity and Cardiometabolic Research.

Current projects include exploring membrane integrity in bovine leaky gut syndrome and utilizing VLPs as cancer drug delivery systems.
