Lauren Russell

Lauren Russell is an Assistant Professor in The Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University’s Krieger School of Arts & Sciences. Her research and creative work focus on poetry and interdisciplinary studies, exemplified by her award-winning publications. She holds offices at Gilman Hall and is reachable at lrusse26@jh.edu.

Her publications include Descent (Tarpaulin Sky Press, 2020), winner of the Poetry Society of America’s 2021 Anna Rabinowitz Award, and What’s Hanging on the Hush (Ahsahta Press, 2017).
