Lauren Maxwell

Lauren Maxwell, PhD, MPH, is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health at Emory University's Rollins School of Public Health. She also works at the World Health Organization (WHO), managing the ZIKV IPD Consortium and contributing to Ebola virus guidelines. Her research focuses on maternal and child health inequities, violence against women and girls (VAWG), women's empowerment measurement, and epidemic responses in low-and-middle-income countries.

Her work emphasizes evidence-based interventions to address systemic health disparities.
