Lauren Johnson is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry at The University of Texas at Tyler. She earned her B.S. in Chemistry from UT Tyler (2010) and her M.S. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University (2013). Her research focused on cationic main group compounds as water-compatible small anion receptors. She has taught undergraduate chemistry lectures and laboratories since 2014, emphasizing hands-on learning experiences. Johnson is deeply committed to fostering student engagement and has received multiple awards for her teaching and contributions to campus collegiality.
