Laure Ribeiro is an Associate Professor at the National School of Architecture of Grenoble and a researcher at the CRESSON team within the AAU Laboratory. She is affiliated with a multidisciplinary Joint Research Unit involving CNRS, Université Grenoble Alpes, and leading architecture/engineering institutions. Her teaching spans ENSA Paris Villette (since 2018) and ENSA Grenoble (since 2021), conducted part-time alongside research.
Her research reimagines urban spaces through child-centered approaches, focusing on:
- Transforming streets into hubs for social connection and play
- Developing 'active atlases' documenting children's urban experiences
- Co-creating public spaces with communities in Paris/Grenoble
- Analyzing sensory atmospheres to inform inclusive design
Recent publications explore suburban regeneration through participatory methods and metrics for joyful urbanism. No awards or supervised students are documented. Her lab, CRESSON, specializes in sensory urbanism but lacks a dedicated web address.
