Laura T. Eisenman is a Professor in the School of Education at the University of Delaware. She specializes in special education, transition planning for students with disabilities, and disability studies. Her research focuses on the social and community experiences of young adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and the integration of disability studies in interdisciplinary programs.

Research Interests: Dr. Eisenman explores disability in educational contexts, community inclusion, and policy. She co-edited *Negotiating Disability: Disclosure in Higher Education* (2017) and leads initiatives like the undergraduate Disability Studies minor and Access:Ability Scholars program.
