Laura Spinola

Laura Spinola is a Lecturer in the BA (Hons) Fashion program at NUA since 2017. Her teaching emphasizes blending technical skills with creative exploration, focusing on holistic design and manufacturing processes. She has industry experience as a designer, owner of a bespoke bridal label, product developer, and digital marketing professional (Certified Digital Marketing Professional, top 3%).

Research & Practice: Laura's work centers on traditional and contemporary pattern cutting, handcrafted design details, and preserving craftsmanship. She has contributed articles to Your East Anglian Wedding Magazine (2018–2019) and exhibited collections at Johannesburg Fashion Week (2008–2010). Her 2011 dissertation analyzed brand expansion strategies in luxury markets.
