Laura S. van Hazendonk

Laura S. van Hazendonk is a Doctoral Candidate at the Laboratory of Physical Chemistry, Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), within the School of Chemical Engineering and Chemistry. Her work focuses on developing sustainable, nontoxic graphene-based ink formulations for printed electronics and studying collagen self-assembly for biomaterial applications.

Her research combines materials science and biochemistry to address sustainability in electronics manufacturing and tissue engineering. Current work emphasizes scalable production of graphene inks, thermal properties, and multiscale biomaterial design. Recent publications highlight collaborations with international teams on topics like e-textiles, liquid crystal actuators, and collagen morphological analysis.

Laura has received the AkzoNobel Graduation Award for Chemistry and Process Technology. Her work involves partnerships with institutions like 4TU.Centre for Research Data, and she has contributed to media discussions on collagen scaffolds and graphene-liquid crystal systems.
