Laura Reyes Arias is a Lecturer at the Pratt Institute's School of Art. As a game designer, educator, and localizer, she focuses on communication, feelings, and player experience in games. Currently, she is developing a card game about creating constellations and organizing LARPs for the NYC community.
Education:
- MFA, Game Design from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Game Center
- B.A. in Foreign Languages from the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras Campus
Her research and design work explore interactive media, player experience, and localization. Outside of academia, she engages in creative community development through game design and is addressing her personal video game backlog.
