Laura McPherson is an Associate Professor of Linguistics at Dartmouth College, specializing in phonology, morphology, and fieldwork with a focus on African languages and the language-music connection. She holds a B.A. from Scripps College and M.A./Ph.D. degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles.
