Laura Ligouri is an Honors Lecturer at the University of Southern Maine and the Executive Director/Founder of Mindbridge, a nonprofit integrating psychological/neurobiological research into human rights work. Affiliated with the Honors Program, her work bridges neuroscience and social justice. She completed research at MIT's Saxelab on discrimination/violence mechanisms and collaborates globally on trauma healing and conflict prevention. Currently finishing a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with concentrations in neuropsychology and social justice.
