Laura Kotevska is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, affiliated with both the Education Portfolio in the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Enterprise and Engagement) and the Department of Philosophy within the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences. She also holds an Honorary Associate position in the Discipline of Philosophy at the same university.
- PhD in Philosophy from the University of Sydney (2017)
- Visiting Student Research Collaborator, Princeton University Department of Philosophy (2013–2014)
- Former Research Fellow at the University of New South Wales and Research Associate at the University of Sydney
Research Interests include:
- Early modern philosophy and science
- Virtue epistemology and moral philosophy
- History of mathematics and its cultural impact
- Scholarship of teaching and learning, especially for moral and epistemic virtue
Publications span topics such as:
- Port-Royal Logic's influence on epistemic practice
- Euclid’s Elements in early modern education
- Gender representation in the history of philosophy
- Ethical implications of mathematical practice
Awards & Honours include:

Teaching & Supervision covers interdisciplinary project units, early modern philosophy, moral philosophy, and courses on themes like climate justice, bioethics, and the history of emotion.
