Laura Kaplan

Laura Kaplan is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the School of Education, Pace University. Her research focuses on bilingual education, translanguaging practices in ENL classrooms, and grassroots educational activism with an emphasis on critically compassionate pedagogy for Latinx youth.

• Education: PhD in Urban Education (CUNY Graduate Center, 2018), MA in Latin American and Caribbean Studies (NYU), BA in Government (Oberlin College).
