Laura Howe-Martin

Laura Howe-Martin, PhD, ABPP, is a Clinical Professor and board-certified clinical psychologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She serves as Director of Behavioral Sciences at the UT Southwestern Moncrief Cancer Institute and Regional Psycho-oncology Lead for the UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center. Her roles include patient care, clinical research, and teaching advanced courses like Advanced Abnormal Psychology and Cultural Diversity in the Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program. She initiated the Psychogenic Nonepileptic Seizure Program at Parkland Behavioral Health Center and holds leadership positions in the American Psychological Association's Continuing Education Committee.

Education: PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of North Texas, followed by postdoctoral training at UT Southwestern's Consult-Liaison Psychiatry division.
