Laura Haddad is a Researcher at the Department of Social Science Religious Studies, Georg August University Göttingen. Her work focuses on the intersection of fashion, media, and sociocultural dynamics of Muslim women in Germany.
Research Interests: She specializes in ethnographic methodologies, examining how Muslim fashion practices challenge societal norms and contribute to post-migrant cultural discourses. Her current DFG-funded project explores visual and discursive negotiation practices around diversity in fashion media, combining digital and physical fieldwork.
