Laura Gonnerman

Laura Gonnerman is Professor and Chair of Communication Sciences and Disorders at UNH's College of Health and Human Services. She earned her PhD in Linguistics from the University of Southern California.

Her research examines:

• Morphological processing in reading
• Bilingual language comprehension
• Neurocognitive bases of language
• Developmental aspects of literacy

Published in Frontiers in Psychology and Developmental Science, Gonnerman's work investigates how bilinguals process complex linguistic structures. She teaches graduate courses in language development and disorders.

Gonnerman collaborates on cross-disciplinary projects examining language processing across populations and development stages.
