Laura Gherardi is an Associate Professor at the Department of Humanistic, Social and Cultural Enterprises, University of Parma. She teaches courses such as Contemporary Social Philosophy, General Sociology, and Social Theory at the First Cycle Degree (DM 270) in Philosophical Studies, as well as Sociology, Social Critic, Public Opinion at the Second Cycle Degree in Journalism, Editorial Culture, Environmental and Multimedia Communication. Her academic engagement spans from 2016/2017 to 2025/2026.
Research Interests: Gherardi's work focuses on the intersection of sociology, social philosophy, and gender studies. She explores topics like intimate relationships, masculinity, urban sustainability, and gender-based violence in academic institutions. Her research also addresses public opinion dynamics and environmental communication.
Publications: Her recent articles analyze narcissism in modern relationships, clinical approaches to affective dynamics, sustainability challenges in urban contexts, and anti-violence policies in universities. These reflect interdisciplinary trends merging social sciences with environmental and gender studies.
