Laura Garcia

Laura Garcia, DNP, RNC is an Associate Professor of Nursing at the University of Mount Saint Vincent. She holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Fairleigh Dickinson University, a Master of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Silliman University. Dr. Garcia has over 30 years of clinical experience in Maternal-Child and Pediatrics, combined with 15+ years as an educator. She previously served as Assistant Dean at Long Island College Hospital School of Nursing and held roles as Level I Coordinator and Assistant Professor there.

She is a Volunteer Global Ambassador for Sigma Theta Tau International, co-founded the Psi Beta Chapter (first Sigma Chapter in the Philippines), and lectures as a Balik Talent at Silliman University. Her work has been published in the Holistic Nursing Practice Journal, and she has been featured in multiple media outlets including The FilAm Magazine and Makilala TV.
