Laura Fischman is a Boston-based artist and Part-Time Lecturer at Tufts University's School of the Museum of Fine Arts. She teaches BA and BS students on the Medford Campus and focuses on painting the unnoticed, imperfect, and fragmented topographies of everyday life.
- Education: BA from Northwestern University, MS from Boston University, MFA from Tufts University/School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
- Research Interests: Transforming discarded objects and mundane landscapes into abstract visual narratives that explore memory, perception, and the passage of time.
Exhibitions: Featured nationally in venues such as the National Weather Center Biennale (Norman, OK), Museum of Fine Arts Boston's Courtyard Gallery, Attleboro Museum of Art, Boston University's 808 Gallery, and solo shows at University of South Dakota's Gallery 110 and Bentley University's McGladrey Art Gallery.
