Laura Devendorf is an Associate Professor at the ATLAS Institute and Department of Information Science at the University of Colorado Boulder. As director of the Unstable Design Lab, she bridges human-computer interaction (HCI), computational design, and craft practices through smart textiles and collaborative innovation.
- BFA in Studio Art and BS in Computer Science from University of California Santa Barbara
- PhD in Information Science from UC Berkeley
Research Interests focus on smart textiles as a medium to challenge human-machine relationships, with projects exploring:
