Laura Carballo is a Professor of Private International Law and Dean of the Faculty of International Relations at the World Maritime University. She holds dual PhDs in Private International Law (University of Vigo, Spain) and Procedural Law (University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain). Her research focuses on the intersection of maritime transport, technology, and legal frameworks, with a particular emphasis on emerging technologies, social aspects of maritime industries, and international maritime law.
