Laura C. Barritt

Laura C. Barritt, PhD, is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Oral Biology at Creighton University's School of Dentistry. She leads academic and research initiatives in oral biology, with a focus on anatomical sciences, molecular dentistry, and educational methodologies.

Research Interests: Dr. Barritt's work spans oral immunology (TREM protein expression), craniofacial development (Dicer1 gene mechanisms), periodontal regeneration, and innovative dental curricula. Her research integrates clinical anatomy with molecular biology to address orofacial disorders and educational gaps in dentistry.
