Latha Velayudhan is a Clinical Professor at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology and Neuroscience of King's College London, where she leads research on aging and dementia. She also serves as a Consultant Old Age Psychiatrist at the South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, managing the Lewisham Memory Service.

- Biomarker identification (clinical, blood, neuroimaging)
- Clinical trials with cannabinoid medications
- Neuropsychiatric symptoms in neurocognitive disorders
- Smell identification dysfunction in dementia
