Associate Professor Lata Vadlamudi is an Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at the University of Queensland Centre for Clinical Research. She holds clinical roles as a Senior Staff Specialist in Neurology at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and Epileptologist within the Comprehensive Epilepsy Program. Her research focuses on epilepsy, particularly in women, genomics, and precision medicine. She leads the Brain, Neurology and Mental Health Theme at UQCCR and has pioneered projects like the Queensland neuro-genomics service and the PERSIST initiative using stem cells and AI for personalized epilepsy treatment.
Education:
