Lars Wrenger

Lars Wrenger is a Doctoral Researcher and Researcher at Leibniz University Hannover's System Architecture (SRA) Group, specializing in operating systems and memory management for heterogeneous memory systems including non-volatile and distributed memory architectures.

He holds an M.Sc. and is pursuing his PhD, having completed his Master's thesis 'Lo(ck|g)-free Page Allocator for Non-Volatile Memory in the Linux Kernel' which earned him the GI-FGBS Award for Best Master Thesis in 2023. His research focuses on Operating Systems, Memory Management, and Virtualization, addressing fundamental challenges in memory allocation scalability, fragmentation, and crash consistency.
