Jörg August Becker

Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Jörg August Becker is the Executive Director at the Institute of Physical Chemistry and Electrochemistry, Leibniz University Hannover, Faculty of Natural Sciences. He holds a C4 Professorship for Physical Chemistry A since 1998 and serves as a BAföG representative for Chemistry Teaching.

• Research Focus: Reaction and structure formation at solid-state interfaces, quantum chemical calculations of silica interfaces, experimental studies on reactive wetting effects at germanium oxide and silicon dioxide interfaces.
