Lars Weinehall is a Professor in Epidemiology and Family Medicine at the Department of Epidemiology and Global Health, Umeå University. He is a senior academic with extensive experience in public health interventions and policy, notably leading the Västerbotten Intervention Programme (VIP) from 1985–2007. His work focuses on chronic disease prevention, health inequities, and the integration of digital technologies into healthcare.
