Lars Pilgaard Mikkelsen

Lars Pilgaard Mikkelsen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Wind and Energy Systems at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). His research focuses on numerical finite element simulations and experimental characterization of polymer matrix composites, particularly in wind turbine blade materials. Key areas include fatigue and compression behavior, utilizing tools like Abaqus and 3D x-ray tomography.
