Lars Gunnar Furelid Tellnes

Lars Gunnar Furelid Tellnes is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science, Engineering and Economics at Østfold University College. His work focuses on environmental assessment of products, particularly through Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), and promoting sustainability in construction and industry.

Education & Background: Holds an MSc in Industrial Ecology from NTNU. With ten years of research experience at institutions like NORSUS and the Norwegian Institute of Wood Technology, he transitioned to academia, teaching LCA at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences before joining Østfold in 2021 as a doctoral fellow.

Research Interests: Explores cross-disciplinary collaboration, sustainable materials, and LCA applications in construction. Key projects include BIM-LCA, MycoBuild (bio-based building materials), and SNUG (circular economy methodologies).
