Lars Gertenbach

Dr. Lars Gertenbach served as an Acting Professor of Political Sociology at the Faculty of Sociology, Universität Bielefeld during the winter semester 2017/18 before retiring. Previously, he was a Post-Doc Research Associate at the University of Kassel's Department of Sociological Theory (since 2013), and held roles at Friedrich Schiller University Jena and the University of Freiburg. His research focuses on sociological theory, constructivism, and neoliberal governance, as evidenced by his doctoral thesis on Bruno Latour and his master's work on Foucault's analysis of neoliberalism.
