Lars Erik Gjerpe

Lars Erik Gjerpe is an Associate Professor at the Department of Cultural Heritage Management, University of Oslo. His work focuses on Iron Age and Viking Age archaeology, with expertise in settlement patterns, burial practices, agricultural history, and interdisciplinary collaboration with natural scientists. He has led major excavation projects, including the E18 and Dobbeltspor Dilling initiatives.
