Lars Degerstedt is a Lecturer and Subject Coordinator at the Department of Natural Sciences, Environment and Technology. He focuses on business informatics, digital entrepreneurship, and network-based information systems (NIS). His teaching emphasizes ICT integration in business administration and digital entrepreneurship methodologies.
His research explores ICT-supported service innovation, business intelligence, and digitalization in archipelago regions. He leads the Archipelago Business Development project (funded by Interreg), focusing on digital entrepreneurship in Stockholm's archipelago. Previously, he contributed to the CIBAS project studying social ICT applications in environmental monitoring.
He coordinates the Management with IT bachelor's program, blending business administration (FEK) and ICT qualifications. His technical expertise includes front-end design for mobile and web platforms.
