Lars Boerner is Professor of Economics at Martin-Luther-University of Halle-Wittenberg, Senior Research Fellow at DAFM, King’s Business School, King’s College London, and Research Professor at the IWH – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research. He is an economist and economic historian whose work focuses on the long-run evolution of economies, market structures, and the impact of general-purpose technologies on growth.
