Larry Xiaoming Lang is a Professor at the University of Arizona's School of Music, specializing in cross-cultural music studies and performance. He directs the Center for Chinese Music (established with the Fred Fox School of Music and Confucius Institute), the Arizona Chinese New Year Festival, and the Tucson Sino Choir.

Dr. Lang focuses on promoting Sino-American cultural ties through music. His work includes Chinese-Western fusion compositions like the 'Symphonic Suite of Dream of the Red Chamber' (2013), and he has performed with symphonies in Oregon, Arizona, and internationally. He premiered the Chinese violin concerto 'The Butterfly Lovers' with the Southern Arizona Symphony Orchestra.
