Dr. Larry McGraw is a Professor of Bible and Associate Dean of the Logsdon School of Theology at Howard Payne University (HSU). He holds a BA in Religion from Oklahoma Baptist University (1970), a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1975), and a PhD in New Testament from the same institution (1983), with post-doctoral studies at Princeton Theological Seminary and sabbatical work in Providence, Rhode Island. His academic career includes roles as instructor, assistant professor, and associate professor at Logsdon, alongside administrative duties as Director of Academic Services at HSU.

Professionally, he is a member of the National Association of Baptist Professors of Religion, contributing to its executive board. In his community, he serves as a deacon and regularly preaches and teaches at churches across Texas.
