Larissa Zoller is a Researcher at Friedrich Schiller University Jena, affiliated with the Professorship for Old English Language and Literature. Her work focuses on medieval vernacular and religious texts, including fabliaux, Chaucer's Canterbury Tales, mystery plays, and medieval lyrics, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches to humor theory and narrative structures.

Her research explores fluctuating medieval narratives, biblical adaptations on stage, and modern reinterpretations of medieval themes. Recent publications include a 2023 study on humorous structures in Middle English and German texts.
Scientific awards include a PROMOS scholarship for study at Michigan State University (2018). She teaches courses on Middle English lyrics, Chaucerian literature, and biblical narratives in medieval and modern contexts.
